1. Register on-line using Active.com. It's fast. It's easy. It's 10% cheaper. It is the low-cost registration option. Only $13.50 for individual runners, $32 for families of 3 and $45 for families of 4 or more. The prices are good on-line only until June 25, 2010.
(Note: Only 4 t-shirts for families registering under the family discount price. If you want t-shirts for all runners please register them individually). Just click the link below and complete your registration. You can also make a donation to the Hapton Rotary Club through this site. Please consider making a donation during your registration. Any amount will be appreciated and put to good use. Add a couple of bucks to your registration, come on. We lowered the race fee by $5 this year :)
2. Register by mail. (Printed Application) The cost is $15 for individual runner, $40 for family of 3 or more, $50 for family of 4 or more. Complete an application and return it with your check to: Hampton Rotary Club, PO Box 685, Allison Park PA 15101. (Be sure to allow sufficient time for us to receive your application.)
3. Register by getting the application from a Hampton Rotary Member. I bet you know one. Applications will also be available at the Community Center Fitness Desk.
4. Show up on race day and register. The registration fee on race-day is $20 per runner. Families of 3 are $45. Families of 4 or more are $55. The registration tent will be near the swimming pool.
T-Shirts:
Each pre-registered participant will receive a Firecracker 5K T-Shirt while supplies last. T-shirts will be available on race-day at the registration tables.
Awards:
Awards ceremony will begin 15 minutes after the conclusion of the event. The 3 top male and 3 top female runners will each receive a commemorative award. First, second and third place medals will be awarded to the top male and female in each of the following age groups: Under 7, 8 & 9, 10 & 11, 12 -14, 15 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 - 69, 70 & older.
All finishers 10 and younger will receive a special finisher medal!
Prizes and Raffle:
Following the award ceremony there will be a drawing for the many prizes that have been donated by race sponsors. Gift certificates from local restaurants and other prizes will be given away in a random drawing. Each participant will receive a raffle ticket at registration. You must be at the ceremony to win!!!
